IT'S MONDAY!
WHAT ARE YOU READING?
This awesome meme is hosted by Sheila at One Persons Journey Through a World of Books It's a great way to catch up with fellow book bloggers and read their reviews and see what they have coming up in the next week. She also has some super fun giveaways so go check her out!
Please endure my NyQuil ramblings as I try to recount my past week of reading. I had huge plans for Spring Break-painting, dejunking, etc. Much to my children's dismay I caught the flu and spent most of the week alternating between couch and bed. Thank goodness for playdates, xbox and the Disney Channel. Plans of cleaning garage and yard work came to a screeching halt. Happy children played with friends and engaged in electronic entertainment while mother hacked up lungs.
BUT I did get alot of reading done! Luckily I wrote reviews because I can't really recall details today.
WROTE REVIEWS FOR:
Gym Candy by Carl Deuker
Boys, Girls and Other Hazardous Materials by Rosalind Wiseman
READ AND REVIEWED:
Girl in the Arena by Lise Hines
Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard
STILL NEED TO REVIEW:
Alice and Wonderland and Philosophy by Richard Brian Davis
Repossessed by A.M. Jenkins
This week I plan to read:
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson for a book club that I recently joined.
Very excited-I've heard great things about it.
And of course I'm gearing up for Dewey's 24 Hour read-a-thon taking place on April 10th.
My plan is to read small short books- I've chosen some Newberry Honor Books that mostly just sit on the shelf. If I read them it would be much easier to recommend them, right?
Do you have any suggestions for me?
I want to read Girl in The Arena. I am about to read your review. :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better Tammy! It's too bad that you had the flu during your spring break.
ReplyDeleteI liked your reviews of Girl in the Arena and Boys, Girls, and Other Hazardous Materials. Both books are on my TBR list.
I hope you enjoy the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. It's supposed to be really good and it is going to be made into a movie.
I am going to have to check out this readathon. I keep seeing it everywhere.
Have a great week!
